                                                          My Adventure in Africa

 

 I started my journey to Africa by boat.

I took a lot of food and water. I also took a gun for self-defence from animals. At the beginning I paniced a little. The first two weeks were scary. After that I calmed down. Every morning was different on boat. I woke up with the sun or the strong wind or rain. I also took a fishing equipment. I came to Africa. I needed fifty days from the USA to Africa. When I came there, I saw a beautiful long beach. My boat was big but I also had a small boat to take me to the beach. I walked to a local town. It was a little town. All the people were black, there weren't many people in the town. A lot of men were fishermen. I talked to them. An old lady gave me a hen as a sign of hospitality. She was very clever. She told me all about the fishing competition and invited me to compete along with her sons. I accepted the offer. People were very kind. I had two days to prepare for the competition. I went for a walk in the nature. I had my hunting gun on my back. A man told me I didn't need a gun because there were no wild cats, only snakes and only three species were poisonous. He gave me a big stick to chase away the snakes.  I walked into the dense jungle. There were a lot of birds and fruit like bananas and mangos. I saw monkeys. They weren't aggresive but they were a little bit crazy about my bananas. One of them stole my watch and a banana from my pocket. The sun was going down and I could hardly find the way to the town but I did it in the end. The competition was the next day. We were lucky and won the competition. We donated all the fish we caught to hungry people. It was a good journey.
